Sales and Marketing Lead

You are a passionate sales and marketing strategist and leader who will grow our brand and customer base.  You have a proven track record of reaching your targets and stretching goals while also comfortable working in a lean startup environment.

Highlighted Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the CEO with daily operational and administrative sales tasks as needed
  • Develop with Executive, Web and Graphic design teams marketing and sales strategy
  • Contribute and support strategic planning and implementation of sales processes and goals
  • Attends sales meetings in-person and virtual/online
  • Plans proactive lead generation and manages sales funnel
  • Links to marketing strategy key goals identified in the sales strategy
  • Leads or assists the CEO in the communication of potential sales leads both online, over the phone and in-person (100km local area).
  • Takes notes and keeps minutes during sales and hand-off meetings
  • Helps develop and manage campaigns for digital channels (social, web etc.)
  • Prepares, organizes, and files sales, contract and marketing documentation

Expected Skills

  • Proven experience in growing sales in the TechEd space, training and coaching
  • Highly computer literate and proficient with Office 365
  • Familiar with Apple macOS, Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce
  • Understand SEO, LinkedIn Navigator and Lead finding platforms
  • Able to learn or have worked with WordPress, Drip or other CRM and Online Marketing platforms.
  • Organized and detail-orientated
  • Skilled collaborator
  • Excellent oral, written, and communicator highly proficient in English.

Duties

  • Develop and maintain high-level relationships to serve as a trusted consultant with internal clients, external clients, and networks
  • Develop and implement the sales and marketing plan, which will focus on revenue, customer, and market expansion
  • Responsible for all marketing and sales activities, from lead generation through contract closing
  • Identify and communicate creative and effective solutions to internal and external client needs
  • Maintain all data in the Salesforce Lead, Opportunity, Account and Contact pipelines
