Business Development Representative
You are a passionate salesperson who can turn prospects and leads into happy clients. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.
You are a business development expert that will liaise with our Sales and Marketing teams to grow our brand and customer base. You have a proven track record of reaching your targets and stretching goals while also being comfortable working in a lean startup environment.
To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong customer relationships from first contact until you close the deal. You will also ensure proper after-sales service. If you are motivated and results-driven and enjoy working in a team environment, we’d like to meet you.
Ultimately, you will boost sales and contribute to our long-term business growth.
Responsibilities:
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails
- Present our company to potential clients
- Identify client needs and suggest appropriate products/services
- Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction
- Build long-term trusting relationships with clients
- Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
- Set up meetings or calls between (prospective) clients and Account Executives
- Report to the CEO on (weekly/monthly/quarterly) sales results
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services and new pricing/payment plans
- Links to marketing strategy critical goals identified in the sales strategy
- Helps to prepare, organize, and file sales, contract and marketing documentation
Expected Skills
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative, Sales Account Executive or similar role
- Highly computer literate and proficient with Office 365
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Experience with LinkedIn Navigator and Lead finding platforms
- Organized and detail-orientated
- Skilled collaborator
- Excellent oral, written and communicative highly proficient in English.
- Team-orientated and able to work semi-autonomously
- Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Familiarity with MS Excel (analyzing spreadsheets and charts)
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to deliver engaging presentations
- BSc degree or similar training and experience in Marketing, Business Administration or a relevant field

Training Development Manager

Highlighted Responsibilities and Duties:
- Supports Tactec in preparing for training activities and finalizing trainee lists in all locations.
- Supports Tactec in disseminating relevant information to trainees.
- Supports and monitors Tactec Training Instructors.
- Report(s) to Tactec CEO
- Supervise and support trainers and liaise with subject matter experts to ensure quality delivery and outcomes.
- Conduct needs assessments for the organization and identifies skills and knowledge gaps.
- Organize training delivery and manage training equipment.
- Manage costs, training records, evaluation, reporting and follow-up.
- Analyzes and improves existing training plans.
- Provides feedback to participants and management.
- Assists in the design and development of new training programs for Tactec.
- Work with our Learning Management system (LMS) in setting up courses
- Support and onboard other team members as required
- Monitor continuing Education (CE) compliance
- Update and manage rosters, manage waitlists, cancellations, etc.
- Pull consumption and learning history reports.
- Procure training program courseware from outside providers.
Expected Skills
This position is in-person, hybrid or fully remote with the right candidate.
- Highly computer literate and proficient with Office 365
- Familiar with Apple macOS, Adobe Acrobat, Salesforce
- Able to learn or have worked with WordPress, Drip or other CRM and Online Marketing platforms.
- Organized and detail-orientated
- Excellent time management skills
- Skilled collaborator
- Resourceful and willing to work in a team environment
- Excellent oral, written and communicative highly proficient in English.
