Yes! In a nutshell, Lean is based on systems thinking, whereas Agile is based on design thinking. Both methods aim to provide clients with a high-quality product rapidly, one iteration (or sprint) at a time. Many who aim to practice either Lean or Agile methods do not have a clear understanding of the differences between the goals and principles of Lean vs. Agile. A failure to understand the principles behind the methodology can lead to shallow implementations, which means the ideal outcome will not be achieved.
Teams that clearly understand both Agile and Lean will be more successful, and can even hybrid their approach to enjoy the benefits of both methodologies.
The DASM exam voucher is included in your course purchase. The exam has 50 questions which you have 90 minutes to complete. The 90 minutes does not include a 10-15 minute tutorial. The exam is a non-proctored exam with PearsonVue.
Please study the courseware and course resources including Section 1 of the FREE reference book "Choose Your WoW" to aid you in passing the exam.
After you have completed the Instructor-led portion of the DASM course, please follow the instructions in Tactec's exclusive online Learning Management System's instructions to prepare for and gain access to the DASM exam.
PMI will then notify you and send you an email with a link to the DASM exam. Once PMI sends you the link, you have 60 days to take the online exam.
