Product owners (PO) help facilitate the capture of the needs and desires of the stakeholder community to an agile delivery team. What matters is not the job title, however, the role, thus it’s critical to have someone on your team who represents the customer’s voice and goals. Because DA supports “People First” roles, the PO role is a very important role and usually, a senior product manager, project manager or business analyst fits nicely into this new role. Of course, it takes education, and practice to become good at this role. Some organizations switch between projects or products the person who is the PO or the TL (Team Lead or Scrum Master). This means that one Project this person may be the PO and the next they are a TL. For more information on DA Roles look here.
